HOWARD T. BREEDING, 71, of Viola, died Sunday of cardio-respiratory arrest at Kent General Hospital, Dover. Mr. Breeding, also known as Lucky, retired in 1985 from the civil service at Dover Air Force Base after 30 years. He served on a Navy destroyer in the South Pacific during World War II.

Mr. Breeding was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Dover. He was a former Cub Scout Master for Pack 141 in Felton. He received awards for projects he designed and constructed. Survivors: wife of 51 years, Helen Louise Hart Breeding; son, Dwayne A.
