What happens if you miss your first flight week at unt? ›

All new freshmen students are required to participate in First Flight Week. All freshmen will be assigned a First Flight Leader and will participate in small group meetings, a career readiness session, and have the opportunity to attend programs throughout the week.

Generally, if you miss a flight due to reasons within the airline's control, such as a delayed incoming flight, overbooking, or flat tire, most airlines, will make free rebooking for you on the next available flight without extra charges. Check for the flat tire rule or credit card benefits to avoid extra costs.

The average annual cost of attendance for a Texas resident living on campus and enrolled in 15 hours per semester is $28,494. The average annual cost of attendance for a Texas resident living off campus and enrolled in 9 hours per semester is $26,774.

The normal load for full-time undergraduate students is 15 semester hours for each fall or spring term/semester, or 30 hours for the nine-month academic year. The normal load for full-time students is 12 hours for the summer term/semester.

Advanced (3000-4000 level) electives may be required in order to meet the university advanced credit hour requirement. UNT requires a minimum of 42 advanced hours in order to graduate.

In college, classes can last around 50 minutes, meeting three days a week or twice a week, meeting for an hour and 15 minutes. A class that meets for an hour two or three days a week is a standard college schedule for full-time students.

If you actively decide to miss your flight – perhaps you're having too much fun on your holiday to leave or your business trip gets extended – you will forfeit your ticket fare. Most airlines will only charge an extra fee if they feel the passenger in question has a habit of not turning up.
