Seating:
The bike was taken to Corbin’s in Hollister Ca where two seats were made

2) Custom Duke with integrated “Bitch pad”. Never used

Paintwork:

This was THE LAST paintwork done by the late Larry Marshall. Local and well known award winning customizer and painter. His work was regularly seen on Autorama show cars, bikes and boats. He also was a custom painter for the Beachcomber custom van conversions in W Sacramento during the 1970’s.

Urethane paint was used. Epoxy primed then sprayed gloss black with panels done in House of Colors Shimrin’ Gold base and Candy Brandywine over a black marbling effect o Topcoated with multiple layers of clear. The topcoat was then color sanded and sent to his associate.

The gold and red hand lettering and pin striping was one by Free Form Design in Citrus Heights. The sheetmetal then returned to Larry for additional clear coats followed by the final cut and buff.

For purposes of this sale all I have done is wash the bike. I am not going to get it running. If I go to the trouble of detailing and making it run I might as well ride it again.

The bike has been in dry storage for 10 years. It will require a light recommissioning. The following will need attending to. New battery, tires, fluids and filters. Light polish of some of the chrome bits and paint.

The Bad:
The bike has a salvage title due to an accident I had early in my ownership. The damages were superficial to the paint, handle bars and controls. None of which was part of the current configuration. This was when the bike was still a stock Sporty. But the combined costs exceeded half the value it was insured for and my cheap ass insurance company refused to repair it. So I bought the bike back for $1 per my policy agreement and repaired the damage. I took the bike completely apart to begin its current build. I also had the frame checked at The Frame Man in Sacramento at that time and got two thumbs up.

There are 4 flaws in the paint (see last 4 pics)

1) Black paint chip on front fender rivet
2) Light paint scratch in clearcoat on tank panel. Plenty of clearcoat to blend in the scratch
3) Black paint chip on rear fender lip
4) Black paint chip on fuel tank in front of seat
The black chips can easily be masked, painted, cleared and blended. I have done this before on other areas (I may have a quart can of the black base color available).

Black wrinkle finish on engine cases need touch ups with rattle paint

Some light chrome pitting on rear wheel rim and dynamo/ starter covers. Should polish out easily

Gas filler cap chrome in poor condition.

Misc.

Clear title in my name. I have stated everything known to be needing attn. However, it is the responsibility of the buyer or his agent to inspect the bike prior to purchase at my premises. Sold with no warranties expressed or implied. I am willing to entertain offers but no low ballers. This is a lot of bike for the price. It will beat the pants off most bigger Harleys!!!

Cash sale if picked up locally.
PayPal or certified check otherwise
Bike and title will not be released until funds clear my bank account. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Storage fees will be due at the rate of $10 per day after 30 days. This should be ample time to arrange for transportation.

Thank you for your interest.
